Fidelity Acquires BKS

Earlier this year Fidelity completed its acquisition of BKS Logistics – formerly based in Brackley, Northamptonshire – and welcomed in several key members of the BKS team, adding immense value and growth to the Fidelity family.

BKS was established in 1985 by Bruce Measor and specialised in the storage and distribution of goods, offering a full order pick and pack facility. Their services were aimed at companies supplying retail outlets with giftware and housewares, together with businesses dealing with the promotional and corporate industries.

Over time Bruce’s daughter Karen joined the family business and soon came to run the day-to-day operations, expanding on her knowledge and experience in the industry, and it is this knowledge and experience that Fidelity are so excited to have on board.

With her, Karen also brings Helen and Caroline Worrall, two sisters that have worked alongside Karen and not only share in her history and knowledge, but also the drive to do their best for our customers.

Where the BKS team and customer base have now joined Fidelity in Daventry, Fidelity has been able to remove many of the roadblocks that Karen’s team had faced in regards to space, systems and global reach.

Here’s what Karen had to say about joining the Fidelity family.

“The sale of BKS Logistics Ltd to Fidelity has allowed Bruce and Shirley to retire, and for me to continue to work in the industry which I have a passion for.

We had reached a point where our current clients were all expanding at a phenomenal rate and we were faced with the option of selling BKS or investing in expansion.

After much thought, we decided that selling to Fidelity was an ideal opportunity. We have been able to relocate to Fidelity’s fantastic modern facility in Daventry.

The larger infrastructure has brought many benefits to our clients including speedier turnaround times and more accurate stock records
